Ohio Fallen Heroes Directional SIgn Unveiling

Ohio Fallen Heroes Directional Sign Unveiling

On Wednesday, September 7, join The Ohio Department of Transportation and The Ohio Fallen

Heroes Memorial in commemoration of our lost service members with the dedication and

unveiling of two Brown Directional Signs. These signs will guide travelers from I-71 exit ramps

at State Route 36/37 towards the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial in the Village of Sunbury.

Located in the center of the state, the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial honors those from the State

of Ohio who have been killed in the War on Terrorism since September 11, 2001. This year will

mark the tenth anniversary of the fateful autumn day that forever changed this nation and world,

especially the troops and their families.

Unique in its nature, the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial will now be known to all who drive

Ohio’s main corridor and the new signs will provide direction to those who wish to pay their

respects.

Please join members of the OFHM committee, Gold Star Families, Director of The Ohio

Department of Veterans Affairs Col. Tom Moe, and The Ohio Department of Transportation for

this important unveiling.
