The Personnel Board of Appeals (PBA) is the local government body empowered by the charter to hear appeals from administrative determinations made pursuant to the Administrative Code, and such other powers, duties and functions as provided by the Council
The PBA will meet on an as-needed basis up to once per month and members are volunteers.
To be eligible to serve on the Sunbury PBA one must be:
Individuals who meet the above criteria and are interested in serving on this board can find more information on how to apply on Sunbury’s website under the home page. Applicants are encouraged to apply by November 16, 2022 and will be accepted until two board positions are filled by the Sunbury Council. Residents interested in serving the community can apply with a cover letter and resume by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop off a letter and resume to the Sunbury Administrative Office at 9 East Granville Street.
